We don't run a creche but little ones are most welcome with their parents in our services. We have a dedicated play area for tots at the front of the sanctuary (right hand side). You can sit there with them if you want or take some toys back to your pew. We understand that little children are not usually silent - nor are we! If your baby or child gets very restless, there is a small room (the Millenium Room) off the vestibule that you can go into to settle them. There are some toys and there is audio from the service.
We believe it is important that children and teenagers feel part of the church community and learn to understand and take part in what happens in church. This is why we have monthly All Age services and why we encourage parents to bring their children to church. A number of our teens are on our audio visual desk rota and help with projection, sound and livestreaming during the service.
We try to include older children and teenagers as much as possible in the life of the church and are open to their ideas for volunteering in different ways.
Our All Age services are held at the last Sunday of the month and are usually held in the hall. The setup is cafe style - we sit around tables to allow for conversation and sometimes craft during the service. Everyone is welcome.
